We don't plan on having an accident or receiving a life changing diagnosis but, we can't guarantee that these circumstances will avoid us.
As massage therapists- many of us self-employed it's important to put plans in place that will protect your long term health, your finances, and your loved ones in the event of an accident or illness.
Breaking down the stigma around the insurance "salesman" and helping to provide you with the best plan for your lifestyle is what brings Thomas Thorne to the podcast for an episode discussing insurance (life, disability, and critical illness) and the right savings plan for retirement.

ABOUT THOMAS
Tom is president of Thorne Financial Solutions and is a seasoned Insurance and Investment Broker serving his clients since 2006. His passion is to help families and business owners protect their greatest assets – their earning potential, families, business and employees. With Tom’s formal education and practical life experiences he’s been able to craft a common sense approach to the industry that supports his client’s needs in unique ways. He offers these services based on the simple principle that knowledge for his clients is the single biggest tool he can provide. Originally from Yorkshire, England, Tom’s global travels and experiences coupled with his significant local roots give him a blend of knowledge and skills that makes him ideal for business owners and locally rooted families. His personal demeanor is unassuming which makes working with him comfortable from the onset. His own family life is very active with his four children 2 girls and 2 boys. When not working he can be found outside or surrounded by his family. His favorite activities are skiing and snowboarding and he is very thankful that he likes winter(s). Of living in Canada, Tom says, “Canada is such a large and beautiful place and, while I do miss a few things from the UK, there are definitely many similarities between the two countries. I like that in Canada you can tell what time of year it is and what season you are in with temperatures ranging from -30°C to +30°C. After traveling around the world during my 20’s there isn’t another place I would consider calling home.” To see what his clients say about working with Tom, go to testimonial page. What will my clients get from my service? Here is my commitment to you: Whether we are working on one piece of the puzzle or the whole thing clients can expect me to pay attention to every detail, challenge misconceptions and respect their decisions. Whether you are just starting out or have many years experience under your belt, I will always bring refreshing ideas and support to help you get the most out of life by ``hoping for the best but planning for the worst". I won’t try to fix what isn’t broken or completely get rid of work you have already done if it is working for you. Based on experience, since most people only think about my industry when something bad happens to them or someone they know, I am proactive and thorough in my conversations to make sure all bases are discussed and covered if possible. |
