TAKEAWAYS
  • Modify everything. Every client, every day is differen and true mastery comes from adapting moment to moment.
  • Don’t chase perfection. Focus on effectiveness, not performance. What looks beautiful comes from what feels right.
  • Losing teaches more than winning. Each “loss” is a feedback opportunity that fuels growth and creativity.
  • Competitions build community. Even as solo practitioners, we thrive when we learn from others’ techniques and stories.
  • Thai massage = sustainability. Floor-based work can reduce strain, expand creativity, and extend your career.
ABOUT
Len Jinn Liang—known to many as “Zen Len”—discovered Thai massage just before the COVID-19 lockdown began in Canada. What started as something to do during a quiet time quickly became a deep passion and a lifelong pursuit.
He began practicing professionally in 2022 at Bahn Thai Spa in Toronto, where he now specializes exclusively in Traditional Nuad Thai (Thai Massage). His unique approach blends traditional techniques with his own freestyle methods using the Thai Cloth (pah kao mah).
Len is a Certified ITM Teacher (International Training Massage School, Chiang Mai, Thailand) for Levels 1 and 2, and currently teaches at Bahn Thai School in Toronto.
He entered his first competition in late 2023 and, by 2025, had already competed in six countries, earning recognition and medals at every level—including Best Overall (IMA Champion) and Best Overall International (NewMA European Championship).
This same year, Len also transitioned into judging, serving as a judge for four international competitions across three countries, while leading his first international workshop in Las Vegas, focusing on Freestyle techniques grounded in the principles of Traditional Nuad Thai.
